Freshman Academy

Incoming students are now able to submit an application to participate in the winter 2010 Freshman Academy Program. We are a one-semester program designed to help incoming students make a successful transition to university life. Participants have the advantage of early enrollment in 3 University Core classes, a peer mentor who works directly with students, interaction with faculty outside of class, and many other opportunities.

Freshman Academy provides options for both non-returned missionaries, and returned missionaries. Once participants have been accepted into communities, they will be able to select a group of classes, to be added to their winter schedule. This early enrollment process occurs before freshmen are able to add classes through the university registration system.

Please feel free to contact our office and talk with one of our peer mentors, if you have questions.
